I've spent more than a decade being trusted with other people's homes and animals while they are away. What I've learned is that looking after someone's home is rarely about doing anything dramatic. It's about being dependable, noticing things, respecting how a home is run and knowing what to do when something isn't quite right.
Private Presence grew naturally from that experience. I wanted to offer the same personal responsibility to private and staffed residences that need someone they can genuinely trust for a defined period.
Experience
More than simply being there.
That experience has covered different homes, routines and circumstances, but the essentials remain much the same: attention to detail, respect for the way a household operates, proper care for what has been entrusted and knowing when something needs to be brought to someone else's attention.

The Approach

Every private residence has its own routines, expectations and way of doing things. The approach is to understand and respect those, maintain continuity and use sound judgement when something falls outside the ordinary.

Common sense
Minor matters are handled calmly, while anything requiring authority or specialist attention is brought to the appropriate person.

Based in Europe. Available internationally.
Available for suitable short-term assignments across Europe and the UK, with other international locations considered by arrangement.
